Most people think drawing is ‘perfection’ at first try……. NO! Drawing (like any skill) starts from the seemingly insignificant to the complexity of a masterpiece. If you have the ability to draw a rectangle and thin lines, then you can draw almost “ANYTHING”. – 9jaCraft

9jaCraft is home.

A constant companion for your artistic journey; from cradle to mastery.

9jaCraft is a platform for ANYONE who falls into one of two categories of individuals, with the mind to learn, grow artistically and constantly share their latest creations. Our approach caters for anyone at their relevant creative stages, be it a novice or relatively gifted and skilled individuals, all in the visual art circle.

At 9jaCraft, we provide 100% step-by-step video, audio and pictorial hands-on training on visual art and craft, and we encourage our trainees to exhibit their creations at stipulated intervals. We believe by sharing your artworks with other members, you’ll be motivated enough for improvements and growth in your artistic endeavors.

We do not believe in perfectionism as the ultimate and absolute measure of art, we believe imperfection is an art in itself and anyone should not strive to reach perfection. Art is a journey, not a destination, and our very existence is an art on its own.

For us, creating art from your heart is more important than trying to impress by striving for perfection. Everyone is unique at their level, this is one of the cornerstone of this group.

There are two major categories;

  1. TOTAL BEGINNERS: anyone interested in picking up a new challenge that results into consistent productivity; individuals with zero knowledge of visual art and art enthusiasts with no practical skills).
  2. AVERAGELY SKILLED: those who already create visual artworks, especially in drawing and painting without supervision (self-taught), and want to further develop their skills and update techniques with the help of a constant guide.

  1. Drawing
  2. Painting
  3. Mixed media
  4. Paper crafts/constructions

  1. Realism; figurative, still-life landscape and seascape
  2. Semi-abstract; figurative and still life
  3. Op arts etc.

We have our exclusively categorised WhatsApp group that serves as a training centre. Also, we have our Twitter and Instagram handles, that feature our activities as a group from time to time.

This is about novices who wants to learn practical arts, and are available for training REGULARLY BY SATURDAYS. The classes have begun already and the first training was on paper crafts as you can see in the picture below.

After this, he delved into converting the picture into shapes of which i’ll share just one out of many sketches. If you want to have access to all, you’ve got to join the class. Yes! you have to.

Once again, there are so many things you won’t find up here unless you join the class. You can also tell that friend, brother, colleague or neighbour of yours, who will like to be a part of this.

To join the Whatsapp class, follow this link.

See you in class.
